An inclusive camp, teaching children of all ages and abilities various sports skills in a safe, fun and engaging way, promoting respect for others, good sportsmanship and inspiration to play and enjoy sport whilst leading a healthy lifestyle.
During the times of social distancing we have adapted our camp around multisport disciplines, that still improve your overall skills of rugby but provide a challenge and fun to our kids but at the social distancing rules

Tag Rugby is a minimal contact team game in which each player wears shorts with velcro patches with two tags attached to them. The attacking team has six plays or tags to try to score a try or take the ball down field as close to the line as possible. Tries are worth one point and there are no conversions.

ABOUT OUR SCHOOL
The aim of our camp is to teach and develop new skills in your children through a multi sport discipline which can be used in all areas of sport.
Designed to develop participant’s confidence, decision making, game understanding and spatial awareness. Skills taught will consist mainly of handling, support and evasion skills.
All the sessions are delivered by IRFU grade coaches who all hold an Access NI check, IRFU level 2, First Aid qualifications and safeguarding level 1 to 3 awards.
BALL CONTROL
It’s worth coaching rugby ball control skills as early as possible, even ass young players youngsters will have a well-developed set of core skills and a basic tactical understanding of control is important. We at the Proper School of Rugby will teach tips and drills to help. Hand and eye coordination is vital in all aspects of rugby . The use of smaller basketballs will certainly improve handling to a higher level
THROWING ACURRACY
When it comes to coaching fundamentals, you don’t get much more fundamental than passing and throwing. Players aren’t allowed to pass a ball currently, but teaching lightning paced and accurate throwing skills, every player should will learn to pass. The throwing accuracy drills in this school will provide countless ways to improve your child’s passing and handling skills for future rugby development.

Footwork and evasion. In rugby, footwork and evasion skills are the “fine arts” – ways to run with the ball and beat players with skill, pace and panache. In the Proper School of Rugby we will include sessions that make the children have “rugby speed” not just pace, and evade contact with nifty “rugby footwork”.
PASSING & HANDLING
When it comes to coaching fundamentals, you don’t get much more fundamental than passing. Players aren’t all blessed with lightning pace or accurate kicking skills, but every player should be able to pass. The passing drills and handling activities in this school will provide countless ways to improve your childs passing and handling skills
EXERCISE
Fitter players win more games and get less injuries – it’s as simple as that. We have lots of fun exercises designed specifically to improve your child’s agility and get rugby fit whilst having as much fun as possible.
KICKING and Catching
It’s worth coaching rugby kicking skills as early as possible, even if your young players are not allowed to kick during games yet. By the time kicking is introduced into the game, the youngsters will have a well-developed set of core skills and a basic tactical understanding of when to kick. We at the Proper School of Rugby with teach tips and drills to help. And, of course, any catching drills are going to be worthwhile as they’ll soon be faced with some up and unders too!
